So i was told, "twilight" is a top grosser film of 2008. Its all over the internet and people, i mean, 'young people' are talking about it. My sisters were more than curious to watch the film. after the kutba, we were thinking of doing something fun. And there they thought watching the movie 'twilight', it exactly the best idea of 'quality time' and 'fun', majority wins.
FYI, twilight is based on the best-selling novel by Stephenie Meyer since J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter. Rating the movie from 1-10, i'd say i'll rate it 5! iI admittedly find flaws. Though there are scenes that i like, for instance 'the forest scene' and the 'baseball game scene', and the scene when they were on the top most of a huge huge huge tree, the fight scenes, (have i missed something? let me know). i don't know but the characters haven't given enough justice to their role or maybe because the film was directed from a female perspective. Well, Edward looked like he just stepped out from a gel commercial and looked more like Edward scissor hand. Victoria was said to be gorgeous but look at the movie's version of her. She looked like a cheerleader than a vampire. And bella, yes bella, edward's love, she looks hungry for some edward pie. I haven't read the book but if it appears just like what i saw in the movie then it's a fail. When i watched the first instalment of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and the rest of the instalments, it just keeps getting better except for some scenes that were omitted that was on the book. Sigh!!! let's spare Twilight from too much pressure. It's the first film anyway, let's give the movie a chance. Maybe we can expect better on the next series-turned-film sequels. Because whatever may happen, disappointed or satisfied, "that" film is the Twilight movie that you've all been waiting for.
i can't wait for HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE and the ANGELS AND DEMONS coming this 2009!!!
